How will you celebrate Christmas, 2018?
The 25th of December is an exciting time of year in New Zealand. It is full of wonder and excitement for children and the promise of a break/change of routine, not to mention the new year just around the corner, for adults. It can be a lovely time of year with social engagements and end-of-year gatherings, but it can be chaotic and a stressful time with family visits and the perceived need for Christmas presents to be chosen and purchased for family members. I can only dream of finding a lovely beach to lie on by myself (like the Santa in the picture above), but will most likely be spending it making (gingerbread cookies, pancakes and strawberries, pavlova) and eating an array of food (and put on a few kilos!) with my husband, and my two children. We will most likely open a few presents and sing some Christmas carols and drive to park to kick a ball around together.
What will you be doing?

ReplyDeleteI'm so happy to hear your plan. Since I just stay here around 2 months , I won't come back home. I plan to travel around New Zealand, like Auckland,Willingtom. I may see my friend who live in Auckland. Spending time with friends seems like a good choice, which help me stay away from loneliness.
